The Hook Flower & Produce Show will take place on Sunday 10th September (from 2pm to 4.30pm) in Elizabeth Hall. 2023’s event will consist of the Flower and Produce Show in the main hall of Elizabeth Hall, supported by a traditional village tea room and other fundraising for Hook In Bloom. Hook In Bloom, Hook Allotments Association and Hook Village Halls, supported by Bridges Estate Agents, are working together to stage the show. The eagerly awaited results of the Hook In Bloom competition will also be announced with District Councillor Jonathan Glen presenting the prizes. It is thanks to our sponsors and village fundraising that we can continue to hold the show. More information below………………………

HOOK FLOWER & PRODUCE SHOW Sunday 10th September 2023. As before, you may want some forewarning of some categories so that you can start practicing. Most of the vegetable, flower and produce categories are fairly standard and we hope that everyone will enjoy growing and making their best entries. A full list is available on the HAA and In Bloom websites. Some of the changes for this year include:
Flowers: Floating flower head. Photography Sights of Hook. Produce: Courgette loaf cake – this is the winner of last year’s ‘Cake of your choice’ category. For the recipe, please click here or contact the show secretary at show@hookinbloom.org
Pre-School – (Group or individual) We are seeking a Collage entry from as many individual children as possible but also ask that each of the pre-school groups exhibit a group entry.
We would love to have lots of entries from our younger residents so please encourage all your younger family members to take part and enjoy the fun.
